Lambros Elias Vouvousiras was born in Montreal, studied and lived in London. Athens has been his home base for the last twelve years.
For the past five years he has been working on his own technique inspired by the traditional vertical loom, the weavings of Northern Greece and Athenian modernism through the architectural profile of the city.
His materials are ribbons, cords, threads, and each piece is completely unique.

Full Biography

Lambros Elias Vouvousiras was born in Montreal, studied and lived in London. Athens has been his home base for the last twelve years.

His first love was maths so his studies in the UK were in the field of Business Economics with an MSc Financial Decision Management. At the same time, in London he attended free & linear drawing classes as well as life drawing classes.

After a long career with the most famous names in the hairdressing industry, in recent years he has been running his own business in the centre of Athens.

For the past five years he has been working on his own technique inspired by the traditional vertical loom, the weavings of Northern Greece and Athenian modernism through the architectural profile of the city.
His materials are ribbons, cords, threads, and each piece is completely unique.
