Irene Vergitsi
A Greek-born artist with a distinctive detailed way of painting. Drawn entirely by hand, her paintings have been often described as painted embroideries. Irene Vergitsi is no stranger to the creative field. She has been named a “creative chameleon” and has tackled 2D and 3D techniques in mosaic and ceramics, digital print, illustration, product design, animation, and fashion textiles. With a vast experience over 15 years, her incongruous intertwining geometrical shapes and lines form her identity and express her ‘out-of-the-box’ way of thinking.
Irene Vergitsi is represented exclusively by Mamush Gallery since January 2019.
